Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

TJ Baggett, PGA - Camp Director

TJ is a PGA Life Member with over 25 years of golf experience and is the General Manager ofTPC Piper Glen. His background includes managing golf properties spanning six US states, The Bahamas, and Russia. Born and raised in Richmond, Virginia, his golf career began at Brandermill Country Club where he progressed from the First Assistant to Head Golf Professional. TJ is sought after as an instructor especially to junior golfers and has helped develop several collegiates and one PGA Tour player.

Junior golfers will enjoy the family-friendly atmosphere of the beautiful 18-hole championship course at TPC Piper Glen. Golf legend Arnold Palmer designed TPC Piper Glen for a unique combination of beauty, challenge and pure playability. Situated in the historic city of Charlotte, the stunning layout brings out the best of the rolling North Carolina terrain with natural rock outcroppings, lush oak trees and quiet lake inlets. The highly skilled and motivated PGA professionals have a passion for teaching young golfers, and understand that combining golf fundamentals with a lot of fun is the way to ensure positive results.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
