Mariners Point Golf Center offers the Bay Area's most comprehensive teaching and practice center to learn and work on your game!
The facility features 64 practice stalls on a variety of surfaces, including well-manicured, natural grass practice tees. The driving range offers easy to read yardage markers, clearly defined target greens, and the short game facility is open seven days a week. It includes well-manicured greens and bunkers to practice chipping, pitching and sand shots of varying distances. When you're ready to hit the links, Mariners Point Golf Center features a challenging 9-hole, par-3 golf course set along the majestic San Francisco Bay, which is lighted for night time play seven days a week.
Mariners Point Golf Center is also home to the Silicon Valley Golf Performance Center (SVGPC), a premiere golf learning center in Silicon Valley and the Bay Area. The SVGPC team is focused on introducing youth to the game of golf in a fun and safe environment. They offer programs for all ages and abilities. Their goal is to help juniors improve, gain an understanding of the rules of golf, understand sportsmanship (on and off the course), and proper golf etiquette.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps: This camp is designed to pique the interest of new golfers, while also offering intermediate golfers the coaching needed to improve. Half day campers receive three hours of instruction each day with an emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play and full swing. Campers rotate between stations and participate in drills and skills challenges. Half Day Camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 12:00pm and are open to all ability levels, ages 7-9. You may upgrade to the Full Day Camp for one or more days. To upgrade – call PGA Camps. Rental clubs are available for an additional fee.
Please note: Lunch and course play is NOT provided for half day campers.
Full Day Camps: This camp is a wonderful way for our campers to enjoy a full day of golf. Full day campers receive three hours of coaching each day, with an emphasis on putting, chipping, bunker play, and full swing. Campers rotate between stations and take part in drills and skills challenges. After the morning session and a break for lunch (lunch is NOT provided, campers can bring or buy lunches at the course restaurant), campers will have the opportunity to apply what they have learned to the course (course play consists of various shots from locations designated by coaches). Full Day Camps run Monday through Friday, 9:00am to 4:00pm and are open to players of all abilities, ages 7-9. Rental clubs are available for an additional fee.
Please note: Lunch is NOT provided for full day campers. You may bring or buy lunches at the food truck at the facility.
Facility Notes:
Full and Half Day Camps at Mariners are for ALL skill levels (beginner to advanced). Lunch is not included for Full Day Camps, however, juniors will have the opportunity to purchase lunch daily through the food truck at the facility.

Kim Stevens, LPGA - Camp Director
Kim learned to play golf at age 4 and started developing her teaching skills as a swim instructor through high school and college. After establishing a long career in the hi-tech industry she decided to go back into instruction and has been teaching golf since 2001. For 10 years she was with American Golf as Director of Instruction for both Summitpointe and Monarch Bay Golf Clubs. She developed and directed Corporate Instruction Programs and Team Building events. Kim started the Silicon Valley Golf Performance Center (SVGOLFPC) in January 2012.
