In 2011, Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club underwent a grand reinvention of the already stout 35-year-old golf course. Fifteen holes were enhanced under this period while other remarkable holes went unchanged. The addition of multiple tee boxes fulfills desires of all golfers alike with advanced golfers seeking added length and new golfers seeking shorter distances. Re-configured fairways and bunkers, planting of fescue for depth and definition, and new lakes make for challenging, yet fair hazards as well as terrific strategic shot values. Picturesque, tree-lined and immaculate conditions from No. 1 tee to No. 18 green, a perfect blend of bark and benevolence satisfies golfers of all abilities!

Camp Highlights:

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).

Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Brian Dumler, PGA - Camp Director

Brian is happy to be back in his hometown of Hoffman Estates. A Conant and Harper grad, Brian comes to the Bridges of Poplar Creek after spending the last 28 years as the Head Golf and Teaching Professional at SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. SentryWorld hosted the US Senior Open in 2023, is ranked as one of America's top public courses and is home to one of the most photographed holes in golf, the flower hole. Brian enjoyed a 35 year career as a Wisconsin PGA member and is a five time special award winner including WPGA Teacher, Junior Leader and Golf Professional of the Year. Golf Digest and Golf Magazine have featured Brian in their "best in state ...More" teachers edition and he is a past recipient of the Golf Course Owners of Wisconsin's Teacher of the Year. While at SentryWorld Brian operated a club building and repair shop and built over 1,000 golf sets for area golfers and students. Brian's passion is bringing new golfers into the game and especially enjoys teaching and coaching juniors of all experience levels and adults at the beginner level. Brian is looking forward to continuing a unique golf in schools program he teaches in grade schools.
Brian got his start teaching golf 40 years ago in a local junior program and assisting Harper Athletic Director Roger Bechtold with adult beginner classes. Brian grew up across the street from what is now the Schaumburg Golf Club and learned to play by sneaking through an opening in the fence and first job at 14 years old was selling golf equipment at Herman's Sporting Goods in the Woodfield Mall. Brian moved to Florida for the second semester in both his junior and senior year of high school to work on his game and new then that he would be a teaching and coaching professional. After college, Brian enjoyed spending winters teaching and working at golf courses in Arizona and Colorado, eventually settling in central Wisconsin.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.
