In 2011, Bridges of Poplar Creek Country Club underwent a grand reinvention of the already stout 35-year-old golf course. Fifteen holes were enhanced under this period while other remarkable holes went unchanged. The addition of multiple tee boxes fulfills desires of all golfers alike with advanced golfers seeking added length and new golfers seeking shorter distances. Re-configured fairways and bunkers, planting of fescue for depth and definition, and new lakes make for challenging, yet fair hazards as well as terrific strategic shot values. Picturesque, tree-lined and immaculate conditions from No. 1 tee to No. 18 green, a perfect blend of bark and benevolence satisfies golfers of all abilities!

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment. In the afternoon, campers head to the course for supervised play which allows students to apply techniques they learned on the range to the course. Lunch is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced.

Brian Dumler, PGA - Camp Director
Brian is happy to be back in his hometown of Hoffman Estates. A Conant and Harper grad, Brian comes to the Bridges of Poplar Creek after spending the last 28 years as the Head Golf and Teaching Professional at SentryWorld in Stevens Point, Wisconsin. SentryWorld hosted the US Senior Open in 2023, is ranked as one of America's top public courses and is home to one of the most photographed holes in golf, the flower hole. Brian enjoyed a 35 year career as a Wisconsin PGA member and is a five time special award winner including WPGA Teacher, Junior Leader and Golf Professional of the Year.
