TPC River Highlands in Cromwell, CT
TPC River Highlands was named by Golf Digest as “One of the Top 10 Golf Courses in the State” and the “Best Private Course in the State” by Connecticut Golfer Online for six consecutive years. More recently in 2012, TPC River Highlands was ranked No. 25 by PGA TOUR pros in Golf World’s PGA TOUR Course Rankings.
While challenging enough for the best players in the world during the Travelers Championship, multiple tees on each hole allow golfers of all abilities to enjoy the unrivaled experience at TPC River Highlands. TPC River Highlands’s 23-acre championship practice facility is one of the largest in the state. It is the ideal setting for perfecting every aspect of the game, the facility features a 360-yard driving range, putting green, chipping green and 110,000 square feet of tees. In addition, The First Tee 4-hole golf course, adjacent to the practice facility, was completed in 2009.

- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).

- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

The Instructors
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That's why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise - is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
Justin Smith, PGA - Camp Director
Justin was born and raised in Midland, Texas where he learned to play golf in the winds of West Texas at the age of 13. He received a full athletic scholarship to the University of Texas where he lettered in football and graduated with a Bachelor’s degree in Education.
Before joining TPC River Highlands, Justin worked at Bandon Dunes Golf Resort in Bandon, Oregon and Ibis Golf and Country Club in West Palm Beach, Florida. Justin’s main passion in the golf industry is teaching. He has had the opportunity to study under several of the country’s top golf instructors including Chris O'Connell, Martin Hall, and Chuck Cook.
