Juniors are welcomed at Mather Golf Course, located on a former Air Force base!
Along with an 18-hole championship golf course, the property features a junior friendly practice facility. Juniors have access to an expansive putting green, chipping green, driving range with grass and artificial turf stalls and a practice hole located behind the far end of the driving range. Because of the variety of facilities, Mather has something to offer for all types of golfers. The staff at Mather Golf Course are passionate about growing the next generation of golfers. They are excited to help juniors develop their skills in a supportive and fun environment!

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Jeff Gladius, Camp Co-Director
Jeff Gladius is a dedicated golf professional with a passion for the sport that started early in life. He began his golfing journey at the age of 2 in Santa Rosa at Valley of The Moon Club. Jeff’s experience includes serving as an instructor at Cordova Golf Club, as well as Eagle Glen GC, where he worked with players of various skill levels to help them improve their game. With a combination of early exposure to golf, academic training, and hands-on teaching experience, Jeff has cultivated a well-rounded expertise in the sport. When not on the golf course, you can find Jeff on the softball field coaching his two daughters!
