The Club at Old Hawthorne in Columbia, MO
Now juniors can learn to play golf at The Club at Old Hawthorne, home to the men's and women's golf teams from the University of Missouri. Both teams play and practice at the club and each team hosts an invitational event each year.
The Club at Old Hawthorne sits on 631 acres of what was once a horse farm and so, where stallions once romped and roamed the rolling hills, today golfers stride manicured fairways. The Club at Old Hawthorne features the most complete practice facility in the Midwest, where junior golfers can practice every aspect of their game. In fact, Old Hawthorne has been rated a top 50 practice facility for private clubs in America by the Golf Range Association of America for the past 5 years (2012-16). The 22-acre practice facility allows 50 players to hit at a time and offers a chipping green, putting green and wedge area.

Kevin Stull, PGA-Camp Director
Kevin Stull, Head Golf Professional, has nearly 20 years of experience in the golf industry, and he's spent 15 of those years developing unique programs at The Club at Old Hawthorne. Kevin is a Certified PGA Professional, established in 2012. He was one of the first nine people in the nation to earn the Certified Professional 2.0 designation in 2012, and he is also Level 2 TPI certified. In his 15 years at Old Hawthorne, Kevin has developed a first-class Member-Guest tournament, named "The Stampede", which Senior Editor at Sports Illustrated and contributing writer for GOLF.com, Mark Godich, argues is the best golf tournament in the nation outside of the four majors.
