Colwood Golf Center's 9-hole, Par 3 golf course is uniquely designed for golfers of all levels to succeed.
Juniors of all skill levels of will experience the fun and challenge of Colwood Golf Center. Each hole features two sets of tees, as well as large, undulating greens with two pin locations. The driving range includes all-grass hitting stations, with multiple flags and targets for juniors to test their accuracy. There is also a large putting green which offers young golfers the opportunity to work on their short game.
PGA Camps are also being held at Heron Lakes Golf Club.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment. In the afternoon, campers head to the course for supervised play which allows students to apply techniques they learned on the range to the course. Lunch is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced.

Jake Bader, PGA - Camp Director
Jake is a second generation PGA member with the PGA of America, recipient of the "2019 Oregon PGA Youth Player Development Award" and the "2020 Oregon PGA Player Development Award". Before joining Colwood, Jake spent 9 years as director of instruction with GOLFTEC, where he received the "Top Coach Award" four times. Jake began his teaching career in 1996 in Washington, then went on to work in various public, private, and resort facilities in Palm Springs, Portland, Lake Tahoe and Mexico. Throughout the years with over 24,000 lessons taught, Jake has had over 50 juniors go on to play collegiately, 13 club champions and over 230 student tournament wins. He also coaches local PGA Pros. Tom Mueller, PGA - Camp Director
Tom, who has been a member of the PGA of America since 1995, has over 30 years of experience teaching the game of golf at four facilities. Tom has grown to become a seasoned, popular instructor, who has helped hundreds of golfers from entry-level players to skilled competitors improve their game and enjoyment of it.
Tom began his journey as a golf professional as an assistant at Sand Point Country Club in Seattle in 1990. He then spent 13 years at Meadowmeer Golf Club on Bainbridge Island WA from 1992-2005.
