Buffalo Creek is a MUST PLAY for juniors in the Dallas area.
Located just 30 minutes east of downtown Dallas, Buffalo Creek Golf Club features an array of rolling hills and majestic trees off the eastern shore of Lake Ray Hubbard. Measuring 7,018 yards from the back tees, this par-71 course was designed by Jay Morrish and former PGA TOUR player Tom Weiskopf and opened in the summer of 1992. Ranked among the top courses in the Dallas area, this exciting course features Champion Dwarf Bermuda greens and a pleasant variety of practice facilities to juniors learn and hone new golf skills.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Bob Mims, PGA - Camp Director
A 29 year member of the PGA, Bob played on the golf teams at South Plains Junior College and Stephen F. Austin University. He was owner and Head Golf Professional at Sunset Golf Course in Grand Prairie, TX, for 35 years. His tournament golf accomplishments include playing in the Byron Nelson Invitational in 1997 and five Nike Tour events in the late 1990’s and early 2000’s. His goals are to help golfers of all ages and skill levels understand and play the game better, and he has the experience to do it.
