Chicopee Woods Golf Academy in Gainesville, GA
Chicopee Woods Golf Course is convenient to North Atlanta, Gwinnett and surrounding counties. It is located only one mile from I-985 in the rolling foothills of the North Georgia Mountains. This beautiful course in Gainesville, Georgia is home to 27 holes that are an absolute must to play!
Home to GA PGA sectional and state tournaments, including a past Georgia Public Links Championship, it is a true way to test your golfing ability. The course is friendly to new golfers, but challenging to those with more experience. Junior golfers will certainly enjoy their time at the facility, as it is diverse in terrain, but extremely friendly to the young one’s learning!

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Jason Cochran, PGA - Camp Director
Born and raised in San Diego, CA Jason Cochran serves as the Director of Instruction at Chicopee Woods and is passionate about improving and helping every student reach their golfing goals. Jason has lived in Atlanta for the last 10 years where he served as the Director of Instruction at GOLFTEC. Prior to becoming a golf professional, Jason served in the United States Military, receiving an Honorable Discharge in 2003. Over the last 10 years, Jason has taught more than 45,000 lessons working with state-of-the-art technology, a fact-based teaching model, and golfers of all different skill levels.
