Maine Golf Center Freeport (formerly Freeport Country Club) is a walkable, player-friendly 9-hole golf course situated along I-295 in Freeport.
It has a beautiful driving range, putting green and short-game area. The greens are in good shape and mirror the contour of the landscape. It is the perfect environment for young golfers to be introduced to the game or continue their development with the sport. The vision of MGCF is to offer junior, men and women’s player development programs with an emphasis on growing junior and family golf, so come join the fun!

Brian Bickford, PGA - Camp Director
Brian is in his seventh year as the Executive Director of the Maine Golf (formerly the Maine State Golf Association). He also owns and operates Sim City Indoor Golf Complex and Southern Maine Seniors Golf Association. He is the men’s and women’s golf coach for the University of Southern Maine.
Previously, Brian was the Director of Golf at Val Halla Golf & Recreation Center in Cumberland for 15 years. He entered the Maine Golf Hall of Fame in 2016. He has been on Titleist staff since turning pro over 20 years ago.
Brian and wife Cindy currently live on the coast in Harpswell, ME and have two grown children, Meghan and Kyle. Meghan is the PGA Director of Instruction ...More
