Southern Oregon Golf Academy at Centennial Golf Club in Medford, OR

This family friendly facility boasts 18 holes of spectacular golf, designed by two time PGA Tour winner and 1977 US Amateur Champion, John Fought.
Located in the heart of the Rogue Valley, Centennial Golf Club features a spectacular layout that will challenge golfers of all ages and abilities. Stretching over 7300 yards from the back tees, this fun-filled golf course also features an inviting clubhouse and a functional practice facility.
Centennial Golf Club is also home to the Southern Oregon Golf Academy (SOGA)! Established in April 2019, SOGA is the first golf academy in the Rogue Valley to offer a full range of individual and semi-private lessons, along with small group programs and camps for all ages. Their goal is to create an encouraging and supportive environment, so juniors can develop a sense of self-confidence, improve their golf skills and have fun! Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Ed Fisher, PGA - Camp Co-Director
Ed Fisher is the Owner and Director of Instruction at the Southern Oregon Golf Academy. He attended Oregon State University from 1971-1975, and has over 40 years of teaching and coaching experience. Ed has been a PGA Member since 1989, and is the most tenured golf instructor in Southern Oregon. He was also a six time Pacific Northwest PGA Teacher of the Year Nominee.
Ed's achievements and certifications include:

Reese Fisher, PGA Associate - Camp Co-Director
Reese’s roots in golf go back to his time as a toddler and young junior. His enjoyment of helping “young players” (ages 4-6 in particular) is obvious as he embraces the joy of connecting with our very popular ‘Kids and Klubs” Program.
Reese continues to work on developing the skills necessary to play golf at a very high level. This mindset will serve Reese well as a player and will transition wonderfully to teaching our young golfers.
Reese's golf career highlights include:
- Started OJGA Golf at age eight
- 2016 OSAA 6A High School State Champion
- Weber State University Golf Team 2017-2022
- NCAA DI Big Sky Conference Individual Champion 2022
- NCAA DI Big Sky Conference Team Champion 2022
