Lion Golf Academy at Mountain Meadows Golf Course in Pomona, CA

Mountain Meadows Golf Course is located twenty-five miles east of Los Angeles, amidst the hills of the San Gabriel basin, a beautiful setting to learn and play golf.
The property originally opened in 1927, but redesigned by Ted Robinson Sr. in the 1960s. The facility is adjacent to the Frank G. Bonelli Park, which adds to the golf course’s unique feel. With a demanding slope rating of 131, the 18-hole, award-winning course measures 6,440 yards from the tips and features elevation changes, and multiple side hill lies. Mountain Meadows Golf Course provides beautiful practice facilities complemented by friendly service and quality amenities – everything a golfer needs for a satisfying experience.
Mountain Meadows Golf Course is also a home to the Lion Golf Academy (LGA), one of the only full-time player development academies focusing on families, with an emphasis on juniors. The team works on developing core principles within golf, as well as one’s short game, putting and full swing. LGA also focuses on developing a child’s athletic skills, and the team encourages children to play other sports in addition to golf.
