Established in 1915, Meadow Park has been a beloved part of the South Puget Sound golf scene for over a century, offering accessible and enjoyable golf for players of all ages and skill levels. The facility features a Championship 18‑hole course designed by acclaimed architect John Ball, complemented by the Williams Nine for a shorter round or practice play. In addition to traditional golf rounds, Meadow Park offers a lighted driving range, practice greens, footgolf, and PGA‑certified instruction — making it a great place to play, practice, and improve your game year‑round. The course embraces its long tradition of inclusivity, having been one of the first public courses in the area where golfers of all backgrounds could play and compete. Today, Meadow Park continues that legacy with programs and facilities that make golf accessible to everyone in the Tacoma community.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.

Mitchell Girard, PGA - Camp Director
Mitch is a PGA graduate from the University of Idaho and has been a PGA Member since 2016. He began his professional career as the First Assistant Professional at Olympia Country & Golf Club before moving on to GOLFTEC-Bellevue. He is currently the Head Golf Professional at Meadow Park Golf Course. He has played a key role in growing the club’s junior programs, partnering with the First Tee of South Puget Sound and Parks Tacoma’s Club B/Beyond the Bell after-school programs to better serve children and youth in the community. Mitch is passionate about creating a welcoming and engaging environment where young golfers can develop their skills, confidence, and love for the game.
