Junior golfers can now create new memories at Heritage Oaks Golf Club which offers 36 holes on three golf courses for players of all levels.
Northbrook Park District offers 36 holes on three golf courses for players of all levels. The Classic 18 and the Legacy 9 are located at Heritage Oaks Golf Club while the Par-3 Anetsberger Golf Course is located in beautiful Techny Prairie Park and Fields. Heritage Oak’s Classic 18 is a par-70 golf course that has elegant styling from the era some of golf’s greatest architects. Home to avid and enthusiastic golfers of all ages, The Legacy is considered among the best 9-hole courses on the North Shore, it’s a great place for a quick 9-hole golf fix. The Par 3 Anetsberger Golf Course provides an excellent opportunity to walk a quick 9 and sharpen short game skills. The Anetsberger facility also offers a large short game practice area that includes a putting green, chipping green, two practice bunkers, and 40 yards of fairway to work on your wedge game. The Heritage Oaks Practice Range features TrackMan technology, six target greens, Titleist Tour Practice range balls and Real Feel Golf Mats. Using doppler radar, TrackMan cutting edge technology tracks eight key data points including carry, ball speed, launch angle, side distance, total distance, height, launch direction and distance from the pin. Its a perfect place for juniors to learn new skills.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment. In the afternoon, campers head to the course for supervised play which allows students to apply techniques they learned on the range to the course. Lunch is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced.
Advanced Camps are designed for junior golfers who want to advance their game to a more competitive level. Stroke play, match play and other competitions are simulated each day with the end goal being overall game improvement. Lunch and course play is included unlessotherwise noted. Skill Level: Advanced.

Michael Wenzel, PGA - Camp Director
Michael directs instruction for the Northbrook Golf Academy at Heritage Oaks in Northbrook, Illinois. A PGA member since 2006, he obtained his Certification in Instruction through the PGA in 2008. While in college Michael played golf for Augustana College in Rock Island, Illinois, and honed his skills to play competitively. He was recognized as the IPGA Junior Golf Leader in 2011, and in 2014 U.S. Kids Golf recognized Michael as a Master Kids Teacher. He has also been recognized by Golf Digest as one of the Best Teachers in Illinois.
