The new David Ogrin Golf Academy is the perfect place for juniors to learn the fundamentals from one of golf's most highly regarded instructors. This unique practice facility is conveniently located between San Antonio and Austin. Juniors can learn the game in a comfortable setting featuring a driving range, short game area, putting green and bunker practice area.
The David Ogrin Golf Academy also hosts a Half Day Camp tailored for older juniors. The PGA approved curriculum incorporates the latest in technology, giving campers a unique opportunity for to improve their game. Campers will have access to Trackman, which records their swing and club-head statistics before, during, and after impact. There is also K Motion, where campers will have their swings recorded in 3D. Additionally, with Exputt, they can have their putting strokes accurately measured for numerous data points, leading to putts rolling end over end.

David Ogrin, PGA - Camp Director
In 1996, David won the Valero Texas Open by beating Jay Haas by one and some guy named Tiger Woods by two shots. (David tells people he beat Tiger so badly he has never come back to San Antonio!) Since leaving the PGA Tour and Champions Tour in 2009, David has focused his attention on teaching golf and coaching players of all ages and skill levels to improve their game and get to the next level. He specializes in teaching beginners how to get started in the great game of golf, coaching high school players to advance their game to a college level, and the short game especially how to be a better putter.
Eric Ilic, PGA, Camp Co-Director
Eric Ilic is a PGA Professional/Coach at the David Ogrin Golf Academy. His aim is to create fun, unique and productive learning experiences within every coaching session.
Born and raised in Chicago, Illinois, he is a graduate of NCAA Division 1 Loyola University Chicago, where he received All-Conference honors.
His ambition is to cultivate and forge long lasting relationships, to bring out the unlimited amounts of potential, talent and ability in his students and to always remember “Golf is Fun!” His experiences as a professional golfer through the years has shaped his coaching, teaching and playing expertise.
