This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
The golf course offers six sets of tees, spanning from Junior Tees to Black Tees, which have served as host to several USGA Championship Qualifiers, and will also host the 2018 Virginia State Amateur Tournament. The Federal Club’s award-winning practice facilities, which include three practice greens, four short game bunkers, and five full length range tees, enable juniors to practice and hone their skills in a casual, fun environment.
We have camps for all age groups and abilities, and our best-in-class PGA instruction ensures your child learns from the best.
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
Originally from York, England, Tim came to The United States to study Golf Complex Operations and Golf Management at The Golf Academy of America in Orlando, Florida. There he studied the golf swing under Carl Rabito, PGA Master Professional, and one of Golf Magazine’s Top 100 Golf Instructors. Tim subsequently worked in various roles at Brandermill Country Club, The Country Club of Virginia, Kinloch Golf Club, The Foundry Golf Club, and The Federal Club, where he is now Head Golf Professional. Tim has been a member of The PGA of America since 2001 and earned PGA Certified Professional status in Golf Operations in 2009. Tim enjoys coaching juniors and adults towards their goals in golf, and is excited about the new partnership with PGA Junior Golf Camps!
Daniel was born and raised in Glendale Heights, IL, and was introduced to golf at a young age. He pursued a business degree in PGA Golf Management from Campbell University in North Carolina and became a member of The PGA of America in 2012. He earned his MBA degree from Mississippi State University in 2017, and has since developed a passion for coaching and motivating junior golfers to achieve their goals through The Federal Club Junior Academy, which is supported by the Operation 36 Player Development Platform. Operation 36 creates a social environment for players to learn and develop skills on and off the golf course. In his private and group coaching programs, Daniel emphasizes the “scoring” zone, while also focusing on game expectation management. He also loves to compete, having qualified for the 2017 PGA Professional Championship in Oregon.
