The Fairways of Halfmoon Golf Course in Mechanicville, NY
All young golfers are encouraged to come play and learn at The Fairways of Halfmoon Golf Course, a place in which the staff is family friendly and passionate about junior golf!
The 18-hole Fairways of Halfmoon Golf Course features four sets of tees, ranging from 4,578 to 6,237 yards, on its par-72 bent-grass layout. The course, which opened in 1999 and was designed by Gary Van Alstyne, stresses accuracy over distance. Whether its water hazards, bunkers, trees or fescue, the Fairways of Halfmoon offers a diverse layout for golfers of all abilities. The facility also features a driving range and short game area, allowing junior golfers to work on all aspects of the game. The coaching staff is looking forward to helping juniors learn new skills in a fun, engaging and supportive environment!

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment for all. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced.
