Meck County Golf Academy at Dr. Charles L. Sifford Golf Course in Charlotte, NC
Located in South End and just minutes from uptown Charlotte, this 9-hole family friendly course has a rich and storied history.
Originally built in the 1930s as Bonnie Brae Golf Course and designed by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers as an 18-hole layout, the course was reduced to 9 holes in the 1970s during the construction of I-77 and renamed Revolution Park Golf Course. In 2010, it was renamed again to honor Dr. Charles Sifford. Today, the course features skyline views, Bermuda grass from tee to green, and a complete practice facility with a driving range and short game area.
Dr. Charles L. Sifford Golf Course is also home to Meck County Golf Academy. Their goal is to improve each junior golfer's skills in a fun and inclusive environment.
