Keney Park Golf Course in Windsor, CT
Junior golfers will create wonderful memories at Keney Park Golf Course, an 18-hole course complete with new, extensive practice areas.
Keney Park Golf Course's first nine holes were designed by Devereux Emmet and built in 1927. The second nine was added in 1931, and was designed by City of Hartford engineer Robert ”Jack” Ross. Each tee box has multiple sets of tees, allowing golfers of all skill levels to enjoy their round. The facility also features a new golf range, which has a large natural turf hitting area and an artificial turf hitting area. In addition, the practice putting green has been completely rebuilt and expanded to nearly 7,000 square feet. It has a number of slopes that will provide a realistic experience for juniors when they are working on their putting skills. Another new addition to the facility is the short game practice area, which features a 2,000 square foot green to which juniors can attempt various short game shots. Different positions around the green have grass mowed at fairway and rough heights, and there is even a practice bunker so juniors can work on all aspects of the game! The team at Keney Park is excited to help all junior golfers improve their skills and have fun!
