The Harvey Penick Golf Campus is a 112-acre public facility that features a 9-hole PGA-Tour designed golf course and one of the best public practice facilities in central Texas, including a grass-only driving range, two practice greens, and a 3-hole short course. The philosophy at Harvey Penick is that every golfer is unique and should have a unique approach to learning golf, which makes it the perfect place for juniors to learn and improve their game.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.
Advanced Half Day Camps provide an excellent opportunity for junior golfers who are ready to take that next step towards course play. Participants will have the opportunity to improve their technical skills and begin to develop course management skills. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience level in order to create the most favorable learning environment possible. Lunch is provided for Advanced Half Day campers.

Mark Klement, PGA - Co-Director
Born and raised in Austin, Texas Mark has been playing golf since the age of 8. He graduated from the University of Texas at Austin in 1986. Mark has been employed in golf business since graduating from college and has been a member of the PGA of America since 1991. Mark works at the Harvey Penick Golf Campus as Co-Director of Instruction where he coaches youth as well as offering private instruction and coaching to all golfers.

Myron Klement, PGA - Co-Director
Myron is an Austin native that has been coaching and teaching the game of golf for thirty plus years. He is Director of Instruction at The First Tee of Greater Austin. As a PGA Coach, he develops golfers of all abilities and ages through private coaching. He most recently coached at Balcones Country Club for two years. He also coached at GolfTEC Arboretum for eight years using video and motion analysis to improve golfers swings. Myron spent twelve years at the Harvey Penick Golf Academy. Myron’s career in the golf business started at the Hills of Lakeway west of Austin as a Club Professional.
