Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

Ryan Young, PGA - Camp Director

Ryan grew up in Mill Creek, WA beginning his golf career at age ten. He had a successful collegiate career playing golf for Whitworth University. There he won multiple events, including his conference championship in 2010 which earned him the NWC Player of the Year title and a berth to the NCAA National Championship. He turned pro in 2012 and is now one of the top players in the PNW PGA Section. Since turning professional, Ryan quickly became a prominent instructor in the Pacific Northwest. Voted by his peers, Ryan has been recognized as Golf Digest Best Teachers in Washington State in 2017-18 and 2022-23. He has received PNW PGA Section Awards for Player Development Award (2016, 2020) and Youth ...More Player Development (2018); he has also won the Western WA PGA Chapter Awards for Player Development (2014, 2016, 2017, 2020), Youth Player Development (2018) and Assistant Golf Professional of the Year (2015). Ryan is also a PGA Certified Professional in Teaching & Coaching and a Level 3 Coach for The First Tee. KemperSports Management named Ryan the 2018 Golf Professional of the Year. This award recognizes all his efforts establishing the Chambers Bay Academy and its proven model of growing the game. In 2020, the Golf Range Association of America (GRAA) named Ryan a Top 100 Growth of the Game Teaching Professional. While not playing or teaching golf, Ryan enjoys playing the guitar, snowboarding, wake surfing, and investing in real estate. Chambers Bay Golf Course

Extensive practice facilities and expert instruction at this 18-hole championship course provides an authentic links experience for juniors of all abilities. Prestigious host to the 2015 U.S. Open as well as many other historic championships, juniors will get to sharpen their skills and roam the same grounds where the games greatest have teed it up. With tawny fescue grasses, towering sand dunes, massive fairways, and breathtaking views of the Puget Sound and snow-capped Olympic Mountains, Chambers Bay Golf Course is sure to impress all who may visit.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
