Heather Ridge Golf Course is Aurora's newest public golf course.
Heather Ridge Golf Course is easy to get to from anywhere in the Denver Metro area. After 30 years as a private club, it became public in 2010 and with some of the best greens in the state, the course is a pleasure for golfers of any skill level to play. Heather Ridge's extensive practice facilities which include a driving range as well as putting and chipping areas make it an ideal place for junior golfers to learn and hone the great game of golf.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment. In the afternoon, campers head to the course for supervised play which allows students to apply techniques they learned on the range to the course. Lunch is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced.
Modified Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for advanced beginner to intermediate level golfers to continue to improve their technical skills but also begin the process of understanding course management, shot selection and simple stat tracking. Participants are segmented into small groups based on their experience level to create a more favorable learning environment. Lunch and course play is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Advanced Beginner to Intermediate.
Please Note: Full Day Camps do not include lunch. Campers should bring a lunch.

Rynk Strothers, PGA - Camp Director
Rynk grew up in southern California and makes his home in Englewood, Colorado. His resume features over 20 years of instruction in the Denver Metro community. He is a Class-A member of the PGA of America and is the President/Director of Instruction of Pro-Link Golf School.
Rynk's passion for junior golf is the driving force behind his effort to get golf established in Denver schools, all in conjunction with the Colorado PGA. In the over 100 'Golf-in-School' programs he has taught, Rynk has reached close to 5,000 kids through 2018. His teaching philosophy is based on fundamentals of the golf swing.
