Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps, which include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA of America Golf Professionals and/or LPGA Teaching Professions.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Pee Wee Camps are a fun introduction to golf, the fundamentals of the game and simple rules and etiquette...all while having fun! Students will be introduced to putting, chipping, and full swing all through age-appropriate game-based teaching methods. There will also be activities that work on balance, coordination, locomotion, and body awareness to help the campers improve their overall athletic skills. Skill Level: New/Beginner.

Ryan McGwyer, PGA - Director for Half Day Camps
Ryan has over 20 years of experience teaching players of all abilities from beginners to PGA tour professionals (Joe Durant, Jerry Pate). He has taught alongside 7 of the current Golf Digest Top 100 instructors and was a staff member of the Golf Digest Schools. In 2017, Ryan was awarded as GOLFTEC National Teacher of the Year, the most prestigious award given by the company.
Ryan is currently ranked a Top 5 instructor in the State of Louisiana by Golf Digest Magazine. He has had multiple students qualify for the US Kids World Championships in Pinehurst both finishing in the Top 40.
Clayton Pendergraft, PGA - Director for Pee Wee Camps
Born and raised in Texas, I attended Sam Houston State University, where I studied Business Administration and Professional Golf Management. After three PGA internships in Texas, Missouri, and Virginia at some of the top clubs in the nation, I knew golf instruction was my passion. One of my mentors, Leighann Albaugh, told me about how much I could learn from Kevin Weeks at Cog Hill, so I made it my goal to serve my last internship there. I’m now in my seventh year at Cog Hill, and I work with Kevin to lead the PGA Junior League team and teach in one of the strongest junior golf programs in the United States.
