Description

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Jimmy Bayne, PGA - Camp Director
Jimmy has been a PGA Member since 2000 and has been teaching junior golfers for over 25 years now. Jimmy joined the staff at Oak Hollow Golf Course in 1997, along with being a lead instructor with the First Tee of Central Carolina since 2012 and the PGA Sports Academies at Oak Hollow since 2014. Known for his engaging lessons and knack for simplifying complex techniques, Jimmy has cultivated a reputation for making golf enjoyable and accessible. His years of experience and recognition as a Top 50 Kids Coach underscore his ability to connect with players and guide them to success.

Oak Hollow's newly designed driving range and practice area is larger and better than ever. The robust practice facilities include a well‑maintained driving range with multiple targets, expansive putting and chipping areas, and opportunities for instruction and skill development. It incorporates an expanded tee area that allows for a spacious grass tee shots along with a section for Nylon Sports Turf. It's the perfect place for juniors to learn and practice new golf skills.
