Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

David Ogrin, PGA - Camp Director

David Ogrin is the Director of Instruction at the David Ogrin Golf Academy in New Braunfels, TX. He played on the PGA Tour from 1983 to 2000 and on the Champion’s Tour 2008 and 2009. David also has competed on the European, Asian, Canadian, and South American Tour with three wins on the PGA Tour and two wins on the South American Tour. His biggest win came at San Antonio’s very own Valero Texas Open in 1996 where he beat Jay Hass by one shot and some guy named Tiger Woods, by two shots.

Besides being an accomplished player on tour David opened the David Ogrin Golf Academy after two years as the Alamo City Golf Trail Director ...More of Instruction, and two years as the Director of Instruction at Topgolf San Antonio where he created and ran the instructional elements of Topgolf San Antonio. As the premier golf instruction facility in the San Antonio area, David and his team offer a wide range of programs, including Junior Golf Clinics, Programs, and Lessons, as well as adult golf lessons and coaching.

David Ogrin Golf Academy

The new David Ogrin Golf Academy is the perfect place for juniors to learn the fundamentals from one of golf's most highly regarded instructors. This unique practice facility is conveniently located between San Antonio and Austin. Juniors can learn the game in a comfortable setting featuring a driving range, short game area, putting green and bunker practice area. The David Ogrin Golf Academy also hosts a Half Day Camp tailored for older juniors. The PGA approved curriculum incorporates the latest in technology, giving campers a unique opportunity for to improve their game. Campers will have access to Trackman, which records their swing and club-head statistics before, during, and after impact. There is also K Motion, where campers will have their swings recorded in 3D. Additionally, with Exputt, they can have their putting strokes accurately measured for numerous data points, leading to putts rolling end over end.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
