Description
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Instructor
Mike Maggs, Camp Director
Mike is Owner and Director of Instruction for CaliGolf Instruction. A disciple of Jim McLean’s, Mike previously served as an Instructor at the PGA West Golf Academy and Jim McLean Golf School, both at PGA West La Quinta Resort and Spa. He also owned and operated the Maggs Golf Academy at the Golf Club at Terra Lago in Indio before partnering with Devan Bonebrake at the Southern California Golf Academy in 2017 and was cofounder of Studio golf Club in 2021. Mike has now move on and become the proud owner of CaliGolf Instruction here in Carlsbad Ca and a 2024 Golf Digest Best in State Golf Coach CA.

CaliGolf Instruction at Carlsbad Golf Center
The property features a comprehensive practice facility, including a 300+ yard range, target greens, yardage markers, a real grass green for chipping and putting, and an artificial putting green and a sand bunker so campers can work on all aspects of the game. Under the guidance of CaliGolf Instruction coaches, juniors will have the opportunity to learn new golf skills in a fun and supportive environment. The CaliGolf Instruction staff is one with a passion for teaching and coaching, especially with junior golfers! Their experience and love for the game is one that cannot be matched!
