Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Derek’s Teaching Philosophy: “I teach students the game of golf in a fun, energetic environment while incorporating basic fundamentals all players need to maximize their potential. I expose my students to many different situations, helping them to grasp all the concepts of this great game in an easy to understand, low pressure environment.” A Class A PGA Member, Derek graduated from Tri-State University with a degree in Golf Management. He has worked at Fremont Country Club and Sylvania Country Club studying under Jim McGurk, a Jim Mclean School instructor.
