Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

Robert McMillan, PGA - Camp Director

Robert has been a PGA certified Golf Professional for over 25 years and is regarded as one of the Top instructors in the Country, he grew up in Glasgow Scotland where he started his career in golf at the famous Turnberry Hotel Golf Courses Scotland as an Assistant Golf Professional, during his time at Turnberry McMillan qualified for the PGA European Tour in La Manga Spain, where he earned his PGA European TOUR Card, Robert went on to receive several awards during his time at Turnberry, he also qualified and played in the British Open Championship and was voted Scotland's Top Under 21 Professional Golfer. McMillan also played on the Asian Golf Tour. Robert always knew from a young ...More age he had a passion for Golf Instruction, he started the Grand Geneva Golf School in Lake Geneva Wisconsin where he was nominated as one of 'Americas Top Instructors' he was also recognized by PGA Magazine as one of Americas most 'Innovative Instructors.' Robert has taught thousands of golfers at all levels of ability including PGA Tour Players and PGA European Tour players. Robert has a simple way of communicating to his students which helps lower their scores, he believes there is not only one correct way to swing the club but there is 'Your Way' Robert provides the student with a 'Road Map' to work their way to improving.

Bear Creek Golf Club

Juniors will enhance their full swing at Bear Creek's large driving range featuring 40 hitting stations, or fine-tune their short game on the large putting greens and two chipping areas, complete with bunkers and contoured grass. Conveniently located adjacent to Dallas/Fort Worth International Airport, Bear Creek Golf Club's pair of captivating championship course layouts, array of amenities and superlative guest service earned it Golf Digest's designation as one of the 'Top 50 Resort Courses in America'.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Pending Payment

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
