Eligibility for Competitive Edge Camps

Must be currently playing competitive golf (i.e. participate on the high school team, junior tournaments, or other similar competition platforms)

Todd Wagner, PGA - Camp Director

Todd Wagner manages the daily operations of the Kohler Golf Academy, ranked in the top 50 best golf schools in America by GOLF Magazine. Serving as Senior Instructor, Wagner trains all Kohler Golf Academy instructors ensuring the quality of instruction and the growth of Kohler Golf Academy through lesson programs and golf schools. He began his career at Kohler as a golf professional in April 1996 and was active in the development of the Kohler Golf Academy. His 19 years as a teaching professional has earned him accolades including:

Competitive Edge Camp at Whistling Straits

New in 2019, the PGA Junior Golf Camps’ Competitive Edge program at Whistling Straits combines elite instruction where advanced junior golfers can take their game to the next level with a parent/child destination experience. Overnight junior golfers and accompanying adults will enjoy deluxe accommodations at the Inn On Woodlake, an on-site boutique-style hotel commensurate with those one would expect from a high-end golf destination. Adults and their junior golfers will enjoy breakfast together at the Inn at Woodlake each morning. Adults will have the day to golf or explore the property. Special golf rates are available for any parent/guardian who wishes to play any of the resort courses during their stay. Each Competitive Edge golfer will have “member-like” access to Whistling Straits’ world-class facilities including the property’s private teaching facility, advanced teaching technologies, and play on its 4 championship courses. The Meadow Valleys, the Irish Course, the River Course, and of course, The Straits are all included in the course play itinerary. Along with being some of the most lauded courses in the country, each of the Kohler courses offer a slightly different playing experience and each provides the junior golf with the opportunity to challenge their skills and abilities.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

Scholarships

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
