Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

Todd McKittrick, PGA - Camp Director

Todd serves as the Director of Instruction at The Phoenician in shadow of Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, AZ. Throughout his 18 years as a PGA Coach, Todd has helped over 140 Junior golfers go on to play at the collegiate level including 4 wins by 3 players in 2023-2024. He has had the privilege of working with players on the PGA Tour, LPGA Tour, Korn Ferry Tour as well as Walker and Curtis Cup participants. The incredible achievements that his students have had helped earn Todd four PGA Teacher of the Year awards (2007, 2008 , 2011 and 2012) in six years while in Chattanooga as well as nominations in the New England and Southwest sections of the PGA. As an owner of some of the best technologies the industry has to offer including Trackman and Boditrak, we can measure, test and execute a plan for every golfer to improve.

The Phoenician

Welcome to The Phoenician, an iconic luxury golf resort destination set against the stunning backdrop of the Sonoran Desert and Camelback Mountain in Scottsdale, Arizona. Redesigned and rerouted to provide a more natural rhythm and flow, the 18-hole course plays to a par 71 and offers five sets of player-friendly tees, so golfers of all abilities can enjoy their round. The property also features a driving range, pitching/chipping green and an oversized putting green! The team at The Phoenician is well versed in youth player development and understands the importance of positive coaching. Juniors are sure to not only enjoy the golf facilities, but will certainly have a great time with the coaching staff at The Phoenician as well.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
