Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment for all.

Riley Michaelis, PGA - Camp Director
Riley has been teaching and coaching for over 10 years. After graduating from the Golf Academy of America in San Diego in 2015, he was immediately hired by the popular destination golf school “Golf Made Simple.” While there, Riley rapidly worked his way up to lead coach, honing his skills while teaching thousands of hours of lessons to golfers of all levels and ages. Riley recently obtained full PGA membership status!
Riley’s approach is to help players learn and understand the fundamentals of a golf swing and the aspects that enhance ball contact and flight. Encino/Balboa Golf Courses at Sepulveda Golf Complex
Encino/Balboa Golf Courses make up the Sepulveda Golf Complex. Juniors will find this is the perfect place to learn and improve throughout the complex, which includes two 18 hole courses. The extensive practice facilities which include a wide and lighted driving range, pitching and chipping areas and large putting green provide a great opportunity to learn new skills. Both courses hold 4 sets of tees and can present many challenges to experienced players but still accommodate those new to the game depending on which course you play. The complex continues a long tradition of municipal golf in Los Angeles as part of the larger Sepulveda Basin recreation area, providing access to a classic public golf experience.
