Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

Jared Danford, PGA - Camp Director

Jared is the Owner/ Head Coach of the Danford Junior Golf Academy at Palm Valley Golf Club. Growing up in Northern Colorado, he excelled in winning numerous junior events. In the fall of 2003, Jared began attending Grand Canyon University in central Phoenix. He was a 4 year Letterman on the golf team and graduated with majors in Secondary Education and History. After his time at GCU, he moved full time to Phoenix and began working as an Assistant Professional at the Golf Club of Estrella to which he quickly began to realize that he wanted to coach full time. Jared now mainly focuses on developing junior golfers. He has been teaching for 15 years now and has been a ...More PGA Professional since 2011. He works with juniors on all parts of their game to ensure that excel on the course and have fun while learning!

Palm Valley Golf Club

This public golf facility features 27 holes of championship golf laid out as three distinct nine-hole courses — North, South, and West — offering three different 18-hole combinations so every round feels fresh and exciting. The property features an expansive practice facility with a 30 station all grass range and a short game area, which includes a bunker, chipping green and large putting green. It is a wonderful facility for beginners and avid golfers to work on their skills. Junior golf is an important aspect of Palm Valley’s player development program, and the team is excited help your junior golfer learn and have fun!

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
