Description
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Instructor
Bob Janes, PGA - Camp Director
Bob Janes has been Head Teaching Professional at Trysting Tree since 1993 and has over 30 years of teaching experience. Bob came to Trysting Tree Golf Club from Arizona where he was the Head Golf Professional at TPC Star Pass as well as the Teaching Professional for Exceller Golf Schools at The Pointe Hilton at Tapatio Cliffs. Prior to this, Bob played collegiate golf for the University of Idaho and is a native of East Wenatchee, Washington. His high school team (Eastmont) won 3 consecutive state championships.
Trysting Tree Golf Club
Located just minutes from Oregon State University, Trysting Tree serves as the home course for the OSU Beavers men’s and women’s golf teams and has hosted numerous regional and collegiate championships. Designed by renowned architect Ted Robinson, Sr. and redesigned in 2017 by Dan Hixson, this championship layout blends classic links‑style strategy with scenic Pacific Northwest terrain that’s enjoyable for golfers of all skill levels. The course features five sets of tees and stretches to over 7,000 yards. The practice facility at Trysting Tree Golf Club is a great place for campers to learn and hone their skills. A premier practice facility with a 300‑yard driving range and multiple short‑game areas helps golfers warm up or sharpen skills year‑round. A secluded practice area between the fifth and sixth holes provide for an area to work on short game shot-making, including a 50,000-square-foot green and practice bunker. Juniors will be sure to enjoy the premier facilities at Trysting Tree!
