Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

Brian King, PGA - Camp Director

Brian King is a Lifetime Member of the PGA and has over 35 years of experience teaching and coaching golf. He is in his 20th season at Prairie Landing and has changed the games of hundreds of golfers of all ages and abilities. Brian teaches year-round at both Prairie Landing and his Indoor Training center just 5 minutes away. Brian is an expert in the development of junior golfers and has coached hundreds of juniors to high school, college, and beyond. Brian has numerous programs and camps for junior golfers that are year-round. In 2024, he launched the Advanced Junior Mastery Series, a comprehensive coaching series for juniors age 12-17. The Path to Compete is a year-round coaching program for ...More juniors looking to be competitive and make the high school team. With a very personalized coaching style, Brian knows exactly how to customize instruction to benefit you and your playing level.

Prairie Landing Golf Club

Prairie Landing Golf Club is a prairie links style, 18-hole course designed by Robert Trent Jones, Jr. The course was rated 4.5 Stars by Golf Digest for “Best Places to Play”, one of only 25 Illinois courses to receive such a rating. Dedicated to the golfer, Prairie Landing Golf Club prides itself on offering the quintessential golf experience of the Chicagoland Area. With meticulously maintained greens and fairways, Prairie Landing is designed with the player in mind. From wide open par 5’s to narrow par 3’s, the course is a fair challenge with a rewarding landscape. Junior golfers can improve their skills at the property's extensive practice facilities. Prairie Landing features two well-conditioned regulation Par-4 practice holes, a driving range with multiple targets, chipping area and putting greens. The team at Prairie Landing put an emphasis on learning golf in a fun and supportive environment. Brian and his staff look forward to helping all junior golfers this summer!

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Pending Payment

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Scholarships

Scholarships for kids who are financially unable to attend sports programs. Your donation is greatly appreciated, but is not tax deductible.

Annual Membership Fees

An additional fee for those programs that meet annual membership fee criteria.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
