Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment for all.

Instructor

Austin Scarboro, PGA Associate - Camp Director

Austin was born and raised in Pinehurst, North Carolina, where he picked up a golf club as soon as he could hold one. A decorated junior golfer, he won multiple tournaments and earned a North Carolina 4A State Championship title in high school. Following graduation, Austin enlisted in the United States Army as a Military Police Officer, rising to the rank of Staff Sargent. During his final months of service, he interned at Ko'Olina Golf Club in Oahu, Hawaii where he began his journey as a PGA Associate. After completeing his military career, Austin and his family returned to North Carolina. He went on to serve as a certified personal coach at Golftec Ballantyne, and later as an Assistant ...More Golf Professional at Rolling Hills Country Club in Monroe NC. Most recently, Austin worked as a Player Development Professional at Firethorne Country Club, where he helped players of all skill levels reach their goals through individualized and group coaching. Austin is excited to join the team at Charles T Myers. He is passionate about helping players not only refine their golf swing but also build flexibility, power, both on and off the course.

Meck County Golf Academy at Charles T. Myers Golf Course

Charles T. Myers is a public golf course, in many ways reminiscent of the courses where golf originated. Ideal for golfers of all ages and skill levels, it is friendly from the forward tees and offers a challenge to experienced golfers who wish to play from the back tees! Charles T. Myers has beautiful bent-grass greens with stunning views and abundant wildlife. The property also features a large driving range with grass hitting areas, a three hole par-3 course, and a short game area. <br> <br> Charles T. Myers Golf Course is also home to Meck County Golf Academy. Their goal is to improve each junior's game in a fun, inclusive setting with programs that blend expert instruction, camaraderie, and a supportive atmosphere for all skill levels. The coaching staff is looking forward to helping all junior golfers learn and have fun this summer!

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Pending Payment

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
