Description
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Instructor
Brian Bickford, PGA - Instructor
Brian is in his ninth year as the Executive Director of the Maine Golf Association (formerly the Maine State Golf Association). He also owns and operates Sim City Indoor Golf Complex and Southern Maine Seniors Golf Association. He is the current men’s and women’s golf coach for the University of Southern Maine.
Previously, Brian was the Director of Golf at Val Halla Golf & Recreation Center in Cumberland for 15 years. He entered the Maine Golf Hall of Fame in 2016. He has been on Titleist staff since turning pro over 20 years ago.

While golfers may move along the learning continuum of golf, our offerings of clinics, camps and friendly competition will ensure progression and a fun experience while keeping in mind the spirit of the game of golf.
