Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Rick Spurgeon, PGA - Camp Director
Rick Spurgeon is the current Head Golf Professional at Larchmont Golf Course with 15 years of teaching experience! Rick became a PGA Member in 2012 and within two years was named the 2014 WMCPGA Assistant Golf Professional of the Year. Rick’s focus on junior golf helped him build a very successful junior golf program. In addition to private lessons, he coaches a junior league team and has had multiple students attain golf scholarships. Rick hopes to inspire the love of the game in the next generation of golfers, and looks forward to welcoming them all to Larchmont over the course of the summer!
Larchmont Golf Course
Known for its immaculately maintained greens and large undulating putting surfaces, Larchmont offers a challenging yet accessible round of golf that appeals to players of all skill levels against a backdrop of splendid mountain views and classic Montana scenery. The 18-hole championship course with its five sets of tees is a junior friendly course for those just learning the game as well as those who are looking to tailor their skills. Larchmont boasts an excellent practice facility with a full-length driving range, two large putting greens, and a short game area with a chipping green and practice bunker. Juniors will get to take advantage of the same facility that hosts The Montana Open where professionals and amateurs from across the United States compete.
