Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment for all.

Faren Gainous, LPGA Apprentice - Camp Director

Faren serves as a Golf Instructor at Blue Rock Springs Golf Course. A Vallejo native introduced to golf by her dad at age 5 at this very course, Faren quickly rose through the junior golf ranks. As the top player at Jesse Bethel High, she earned All-Monticello Empire League honors twice before playing for Napa Valley College, where she won the NorCal Championship and earned a scholarship to compete with CSU Monterey Bay Women’s Golf Team. After years of running a local business, marriage and 2 children, Faren is back to her roots—participating in tournaments, sharing her passion for the game and now coaching. Level 1 Certified in the LPGA Teaching Education Program, she continues her training while ...More focusing on helping new golfers and juniors build confidence and have fun on the course.

Blue Rock Springs Golf Club

The West course, originally designed by Joe Mortara Sr. and Jack Fleming, opened in 1941. In 2006 Robert Muir Graves enhanced the design. The course has a traditional layout distinguished by its tree-lined fairways and inviting greens. The West course is very playable and well-suited for every level of player. Designed by Robert Muir Graves, the East course opened in 1993 and is the newer of the layouts with sweeping views of the North Bay and Mt. Tamalpais in Marin County. With several elevation changes and greens protected by sand bunkers, the East course can be challenging. Blue Rock Springs also features a practice facility with 32 grass or mat hitting stalls, and 3 practice putting/chipping greens. With the assistance of the coaching staff, juniors will have the opportunity to work on all aspects of their game. The team at Blue Rock Springs is looking forward to helping campers learn new skills and have fun!

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Pending Payment

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
