Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Instructor
Travis Morton, PGA - Camp Director
A Colorado native, Travis played high school golf at Columbine High School and college golf at Colorado State University – Pueblo. He also played professionally for 12 years, including 3 years on the Gateway Tour in Arizona as well as several PGA Section events. He was a four time winner across all events. Travis currently heads both junior and adult programs at Meadow Hills. Teaching is his passion and he makes it a point to have an easy-going mentality with any golfer he comes across. Travis likes to structure lessons around understanding students’ preferred method of learning to ensure they are successful. He’ll make sure every junior feels comfortable and will make each session fun and productive!
