Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.

Instructor

Gale Immel, PGA Associate - Camp Director

Gale has been the Director of Player Development at TPC Sugarloaf for almost a year. She took over from Patrick McCrary, whom she assisted last year with PGA Camps, and PGA Junior League, as well as other ladies golf clinics. She has been teaching junior golfers for almost 10 years now and assisted in numerous of golf camps during her high school career. Gale played golf at Saint Joseph’s College before transferring to Bethel University, where she finished her collegiate career and graduated with a degree in exercise science. After college Gale work at Riverside Golf Club in the suburbs of Chicago where she helped run the junior golf camps and leagues. After Riverside she went on to work ...More at TPC Scottsdale. While at TPC Scottsdale she was the site lead for First Tee of Phoenix, managing over 130 junior golfers and running all programs there. She also served time as the Head Women’s Golf Coach at Notre Dame Prep. She has a passion for working with juniors and getting more kids involved with the sport we all love. Gale is looking forward to working with all the juniors that come to camp this summer!

TPC Sugarloaf

Juniors will get a chance to foster their love of the game and hone their skills at TPC Sugarloaf. TPC Sugarloaf boasts an impressive 10-acre practice facility featuring multi-tiered hitting areas, a 360-degree short game area including a 20,000 square-foot putting green surrounded by sand traps, and an expansive private teaching area. All three nines offer four sets of tees on each hole, enabling golfers of all ages and abilities to enjoy the subtle nuances and intricate design features that have brought this Greg Norman designed course world-wide design acclaim.

Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Pending Payment

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
