Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

Paul Johnson, PGA - Camp Director

Paul was introduced to golf by his father at age three. During a family vacation to Great Britain, he was able to play at the birthplace of golf; St Andrews, Scotland. On that fateful day, he was bitten by the "golf bug" which started his love and passion for the game of golf. Paul earned a college golf scholarship to Huntingdon College and earned All-American honors twice and won two National Championships. In 2006, he earned his PGA Professional credentials and was elected into membership with Class A status in 2008. Also in 2008, the Alabama - West Florida Section honored Paul with the Junior Golf Leader of the Year award for outstanding work with juniors. In 2013 he was awarded ...More US Kids Golf Top 50 Junior Golf Instructors in the Country. And in 2017, Paul received the Georgia Section PGA Player Development Award for his contributions to developing adult and junior golfers. Currently, Paul is the Director of Golf at Mary Calder Golf Club, Lead Instructor of The Golf Swing Studio, Tour Director of the US Kids Golf Tour Savannah/Hilton Head, Tour Director of the Girls Golf of Savannah organization and most importantly, husband to Michelle, and father to Carter, Ellie Grace and Luke.

The facility has three Trackman golf simulators and a 320+ sq ft putting green, your complete indoor solution! Families can practice golf year-round in a weather and climate controlled environment. Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Pending Payment

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Scholarships for kids who are financially unable to attend sports programs. Your donation is greatly appreciated, but is not tax deductible.

Annual Membership Fees

An additional fee for those programs that meet annual membership fee criteria.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
