Description

Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)

Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Instructor

Robert Stevens, PGA - Camp Director

Robert has been in the golf business since 1997. First as a caddy and player, then instructor, coach and mentor. In 2007 he joined the PGA of America as a "Class A" Professional. Robert has taught golfers of all levels, from tour professionals to first timers. Men, women and juniors have all benefited from Robert's understanding of the golf swing. His down to earth personality and knowledge of the golf swing, makes learning from him fun and easy. Robert believes that he is more like a golfing "coach" rather than a teacher. Giving the students the tools and encouragement to accomplish any and all their golfing goals.

River View Golf Course

River View Golf Course offers challenging tee shots, elevated tees and greens and a seasonal river that runs through the course. With perhaps the finest public greens in Orange County, it is one of the area's most popular and challenging golf courses. The River View Golf Course features the largest and best putting course in Orange County. The facility includes over 30,000 square feet, and contains every type of putt imaginable and coupled with a 28-bay driving range with Ultra Mat. Cancelation Policy

If your child is unable to attend the program after registering, you can apply the registration fee to a future PGA Camps program in the current or following year by calling 1-888-PGA-PLAY (742-7529). Refunds will only be given if you have registered through PGA Camps and purchased Refund Protection. If you registered through another organization, please contact the organization directly about their refund policy. PGA Camps does not pro-rate programs for missed camp days.

Pending Assessment

Your registration can not be processed until your child completes a skill assessment or the provider waives the skill assessment. Please contact as soon as possible to resolve this prerequisite. We will reserve your spot for five days. If the skill assessment has not been completed or waived within five days from your order, your reserved activity or camp selection will be automatically canceled.

Pending Approval

You have selected a program that has limited availability. We must confirm availability with the provider before completing your selection. This process will be completed within 48 hours. During the 48 hour period you will have a reserved spot in your selected listings (1st choice and 2nd choice). If your 1st choice is not available, the registration process will automatically proceed with your 2nd choice.

Pending Payment

Your registration is pending payment. Payment will be processed within 48 hours and you will receive a receipt by email.

Pending Membership Status

Discount must be approved by provider. If provider does not approve discount, selection will be processed without the discount.

Maximum Possible Purchase Price

Because you have selected a program with limited availability, or one that requires a skill assessment, an actual total cannot be calculated at this time. The maximum Possible Purchase Price assumes that you are registered for the listings (whether 1st or 2nd choice) with the greatest purchase price.

You will receive one or more receipts which reflect the actual total for all charges. You will receive this within 48 hours unless one of your activities or camps is still pending a skill assessment.

Scholarships

Scholarships for kids who are financially unable to attend sports programs. Your donation is greatly appreciated, but is not tax deductible.

Annual Membership Fees

An additional fee for those programs that meet annual membership fee criteria.

Brandon's Goal

Creates awareness and raises money to support the institutions, doctors and organizations that are working to seek better treatments for childhood cancer and to find a cure.

Refund Protection

For $10.00 per program, due at the time of registration, Refund Protection entitles you to a full refund of your registration if you cancel for any reason at least 2 weeks before the program start date.
