Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!

Mike Abate, PGA - Camp Director
Mike Abate is a PGA Professional in the Carolinas Section and currently the Director of Instruction at the Impact Performance Golf Learning Center at The Divide Golf Club in Matthews, NC. Mike is also the founder of the Youth Golf Foundation of NC, LCC. Mike is an experienced PGA Instructor and offers several types of programs and instruction packages while his specialty is customizing a golf lesson program that meets your specific needs. All students will start off with a self paced improvement path built on coaching while their golfing goals come first. Impact Performance Golf Learning Center at The Divide Golf Club
The club’s name, The Divide, derives from the fact that it stretches across both Mecklenburg and Union Counties. Play one of Charlotte’s Most Popular Layouts.
Golfers will appreciate the spacious Bermuda fairways and large, renovated Diamond Zoysia greens. Diamond Zoysia resists extreme heat and the thicker surface leaves fewer if any ball marks for a better putting surface. Water comes into play on several holes keeping golfers aware of their surroundings.
Camps are held under the direction of The Impact Performance Golf Learning Center. The instructors at IPGLC understand that each student has a different learning style, skill level, and goals. It is the perfect place to learn new golf skills and grow your child's passion for the game!
