This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
Sportsman’s Country Club’s “Classic 18” course has the elegant styling of one of golf’s great architects, Donald Ross. That’s because it was designed by Edward Dearie Jr., construction crew chief for Ross who became an outstanding architect in his own right. Clearly, Dearie had paid attention to his master’s triumphs. Home to avid and enthusiastic golfers of all ages, East Nine is considered among the best 9-hole courses on the North Shore and home to the Sportsman’s “Family Golf” course. The tee boxes allow young players of all ages to tee it up while playing from proper distances and maintaining speed of play. A perfect place for your young golfer to learn new skills.
We have camps for all age groups and abilities, and our best-in-class PGA instruction ensures your child learns from the best.
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.
High School/Advanced Full Day Camps offer serious game improvement for the serious junior golfer. These camps concentrate on instruction which will take a camper’s game to the next level, with the emphasis on mental conditioning, course management, and the short game. By utilizing tournament-like conditions, campers are taught and tested on those skills identified as being mandatory to successfully compete at even the highest competitive junior golf levels. Stroke play, match play and other like competitions are simulated each day with the end goal being true game improvement.
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
