This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
PGA Junior Golf students will play on the course redesigned by Hall-of-Fame Golfer, Johnny Miller, selected to host the PGA TOUR’s Frys.com Open. Located in the heart of the Wine Country the two championship golf courses both feature dozens of water crossings, elevation changes and routing through historic oak trees.
There’s no better place to learn and improve your golf game than The Johnny Miller Golf Academy (JMAG). Johnny Miller, co-owner of Silverado Resort and Spa, is known for being one of the greatest ball strikers to ever play the game of golf. At the JMAG, juniors are taught Johnny’s approach to not just be golfers but to become PLAYERS. The creativity, thinking, and techniques that Johnny used to become one of the best players in the world is shared with every student of JMAG.
For fine-tuning those new golf skills, students will enjoy Silverado’s practice facility including a full-length turf driving range with target greens at various distances. There is also a large practice putting green offering over a dozen practice holes and a large practice chipping green offering a wide variety of shots to sharpen your chipping & pitching skills.
We have camps for all age groups and abilities, and our best-in-class PGA instruction ensures your child learns from the best.
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
