This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
The immaculate 27-hole championship course, designed by world-renowned architect Robert Muir Graves, challenges players of all levels with three unique nines: The Oaks, The Lakes and The Islands. Members choose to play any two of the nines for an exquisite 18-hole experience amid bunkers and lakes, streams and waterfalls. Junior golfers will enjoy honing new skills on the Seven Oaks extensive driving range and three practice facilities.
We have camps for all age groups and abilities, and our best-in-class PGA instruction ensures your child learns from the best.
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
Joe has been a PGA pro in Kern County for over 36 years, in fact you could say he was born into the game of golf. Throughout his distinguished career, he has taught the game of golf to countless juniors and has guided quite a few to collegiate scholarships. In addition to his teaching responsibilities, Joe has been the lead examiner in the state for the PGA of America’s Players Abilities Testing for over 20 years and in 2004 he was the SoCal PGA Northern Chapter Leader for Junior Golf, something that Haggerty takes great pride in. Now as part of Seven Oaks County Club, he is proud to head one of the largest junior golf programs in Kern County. “Junior golf, that’s where it’s at,” says Haggerty. “It’s great to watch the kids that you help teach and guide grow up and be successful in both golf and life. We hope that what we give them will last a lifetime.”
