Indian Canyon is Spokane’s darling course and has been chosen by Golf Digest many times as one of the top 25 public courses in the United States.
A favorite among locals and visitors alike, golfers revere Indian Canyon due to the mature layout that boasts towering pine trees, classic architecture, strong elevation changes, and impressive views. The site of many major tournaments, Indian Canyon has hosted the U.S.G.A. three times; the United States Amateur Public Links Championship in 1941 and 1984; and the United States Women's Amateur Public Links Championship in 1989. It is the perfect course for young golfers to learn and hone new golf skills.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Half Day Camps are designed to inspire new golfers at the beginning of their journey and further the development of those playing at a beginner to intermediate level. Camps will cover golf fundamentals including posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching, full swing and simple rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age to create a favorable and fun learning environment. Skill Level: Beginner to Intermediate.
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for intermediate to advanced junior golfers to continue to improve their technical skills as well as develop an understanding of course management, shot selection, rules and etiquette. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age to create a favorable learning environment. In the afternoon, campers head to the course for supervised play which allows students to apply techniques they learned on the range to the course. Lunch is included unless otherwise noted. Skill Level: Intermediate to Advanced.

Derek Siesser, PGA - Camp Director
Derek grew up in Maple Valley, WA and began his golf career at age 12. After having success as a junior, Derek competed for Saint Martin’s University helping the Division II school earn berths in the NCAA National Championship and earning induction into the school’s Hall of Honor in 2015. In 2007, he turned pro and quickly established himself as a top player in the Pacific Northwest Section.
Derek’s love of teaching helped him quickly establish a reputation as a one of the top teachers in the Northwest. He has been earned multiple awards from his PGA peers including the 2013 PNWPGA Assistant Professional of the Year and the Youth Player Development Award in 2017 & 2018. As ...More

MATT NOSBAUM has worked at Deer Park GC where he also coached the Deer Park HS Boys Golf team and I fell in love with getting kids to feel the same way about golf as I did. From there he moved onto Circling Raven GC where he was the Tournament Director. He learned a lot during this time, but realized that his primary interest was growing the game through teaching. He is excited to work with the team at Indian Canyon GC where he has the opportunity to help the Junior Programs.
