PGA Junior Golf Camps is proud to announce a unique opportunity to take part in a camp lead by two of the area’s top college coaches!
The Golf Performance Lab offers coaching for those athletes wanting to take their golf game to the next level by combining the technical side of coaching (science based) with a creative, personalized plan for detailed improvement. The indoor, hi-tech facility offers campers the use of the Swing Catalyst 2D High Speed Video, GC Quad Launch Monitor, KD Coach 3-D System and Blast Analyzer.
Junior golfers will have the opportunity to receive instruction from an outstanding coaching team led by the Director of Golf at Whittier College and the Director of Golf and assistant coach of Pomona-Pitzer College men’s and women’s golf teams. This season team of professionals will deliver daily instruction geared toward those high school and tournament level players who are looking to climb their way up the high school ladder, improve their tournament results and have aspirations of playing at the next level.
The Golf Peformance Lab of Los Angeles provides the perfect backdrop for this junior program with everything the advanced golfer needs to challenge and improve their game.

Camp Highlights:
- Action-packed camps include hands-on instruction led by certified PGA Professionals.
- Signature PGA camp curriculum focuses on developing golf skills (full swing, short game, rules and etiquette) while keeping the experience fun and engaging (games and activities).
- A fun, safe and educational environment designed with your child's well being in mind.
- Low student to instructor ratio (approximately 6:1)
Competitive Edge Day Camps are designed for junior golfers who are currently playing competitive golf (i.e. participate on the high school team, junior tournaments, or other similar competition platforms). These camps offer advanced player curriculum developed and delivered by the PGA of America's top teaching professionals. A more favorable student to teacher ratio of 4:1 allows for increased hands-on and customized instruction. With use of the industry's most advanced teaching technologies and daily on course instruction, students will receive an in-depth analysis of their game. Skill Level: Advanced Competitive
Specialty Camps are designed for advanced junior golfers who are interested in working on specific areas of their golf game. Students need to possess competitive golf experience and a desire to learn detailed strategies toward improvement. Specialty areas may include, but are not limited to short game, putting, course management and tournament preparation. Camp type indicated below. Skill Level: Advanced.
Indoor Golf Camps offer an opportunity for juniors to learn and further develop golf fundamentals in a highly engaging environment utilizing golf simulators. All aspects of our outdoor programs are covered, posture, grip, putting, chipping, pitching full swing and simple rules and etiquette in a fun, technology-based training space. Our indoor camps offer a learning experience unlike any other in an engaging environment.

Doo Kang, Camp Director
Kang is the Founder & Head Instructor of Golf Performance Laboratory. GP Lab caters to all levels of golfers creates a custom tailored program for students to achieve their desired goals. Doo Kang’s career in golf exceeds 20 years as a professional and most recently as the Head Coach and Director of Golf for Whittier College. As a player, Doo has traveled across the world and competed professionally – most notably in Asia where he competed on the ADT Asian Tour circuit. His professional resume includes multiple seasons on the Golden State Tour, PGA Monday qualifiers and Tour School qualifying in the U.S and overseas. David Wurzer, Ph.D., PGA Master Golf Professional
Dr. David Wurzer is a PGA Master Professional and Certified Golf Coach at Golf Performance (G P) Lab. He is an Assistant Women’s and Men’s Golf Coach at Pomona-Pitzer Colleges. David is a Titleist Performance Institute (TPI) G 3, JR 3, GM 2; K-Vest Certified, Level 1; BodiTrak Certified, Golf Ground Mechanics; Blast Putt Certified, Level 1; Opti Certified Professional; GolfPsych Mental Game Instructor, and US Kids Certified Junior Instructor.
