This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
Just because summer is over doesn’t mean your child’s skill development and enjoyment of the game has to stop! Back by popular demand, The Club at Gateway will host School Break Camps. In order to accommodate your family’s busy holiday schedule, school break camps utilize a FLEX option allowing you to select and pay only for the days you want your child to attend.
Play one of Golf Digest’s list of Top 100 Courses. Gateway’s Course has hosted USGA qualifiers, PGA chapter and section events, including the Callaway Golf State Pro-Assistant event and the Ben Hogan Tour’s Gateway Open. The Course features six sets of tees, including senior tees for both gentlemen and ladies. Like many Florida courses, there is water on most holes; and you’ll find nearly 100 sand traps; the generous fairways, dramatic stands of native cypress trees, cape cod-style bunkering, and putting surfaces are often described as some of the finest (and quickest) Bermuda grass greens in the state. This adds up to a well-rounded combination of play-ability and challenge, coupled with Fazio’s signature aesthetic appeal. Tom Fazio himself rates our tenth hole as one of the top four greatest golf holes he has ever designed.
Half Day FLEX Camps are designed to inspire new golfers and further the development of those playing at an intermediate level. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their experience and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. For three hours each day, campers learn and hone their skills with a strong emphasis placed on golf’s fundamentals while having fun!
Full Day Camps provide an opportunity for junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as develop better course management expertise. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment. Following lunch, campers head to the course for supervised play emphasizing course management, shot selection and rules.
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
