This isn't just any Golf Camp, it's the PGA Junior Golf Camp. Learn why the PGA instruction is best in class.
Just because summer is over doesn’t mean your child’s skill development and enjoyment of the game has to stop! Back by popular demand, Eisenhower Park will host Weekend Flex Camps. In order to accommodate your family’s busy holiday schedule, weekend camps utilize a FLEX option allowing you to select and pay only for the days you want your child to attend.
The Red Course has a storied history, designed by prominent golf architect Devereux Emmet in 1914 and has hosted PGA Championships as far back as 1926. More recently, the Red Course played host to the PGA Tour’s Commerce Bank Championship. A second championship-level course, the White, was designed by Robert Trent Jones, who also designed the Blue course.
Young golfers will be able to fine tune their skills at Eisenhower Park’s 60 bay driving range and four executive level nine hole courses conveniently located across the county park system.
Weekend FLEX Camps provide an opportunity for junior golfers to continue to improve their skills as well as better course management techniques. Participants are segmented into smaller groups based on their ability level and age in order to create a favorable learning environment.
To be the best, you must learn from the best. That’s why every junior golf camp instructor has been trained and tested in all aspects of the game by the PGA of America. Our promise–is to support, encourage, and respect each and every one of our campers and authentically inspire them to reach their full potential, both on and off the golf course.
The Eisenhower Park Golf program is led by Mike Wade, a Class “A” Member of the PGA of America. Mike is uniquely qualified to instruct new juniors to advanced juniors who are looking to take that “next step” in their golf instruction. In 2004, he received the MET PGA Junior Golf Leader Award and he received the MET PGA President’s Award in 2006.
Mike will be joined by his co-directors Bob Posillico, Doug Solow and Justin Koff. Bob is a Class “A” Member of the PGA and has been a golf professional since 1980. He is a past winner of the Metropolitan PGA Junior Golf Leader award. Doug has also been a Class “A” Member of the PGA since 1996. He has been a teaching professional at various golf facilities on Long Island for 11 years, and was a collegiate golfer at Hofstra University. Justin, a current Class “A” Member of the PGA is a graduate of the Clemson University PGA Professional Golf Management program. He was one of the first nominated Ace Level participants and returned as the Program Director for The First Tee of Nassau County
Justin Koff studied PGA Golf Management and graduated from Clemson University in 2011. Upon graduation, he became the Program Director for The First Tee of Nassau County, a life-skills education program taught through the game of golf located at Eisenhower Park. Justin is a Class A PGA Professional and recognized The First Tee coach. He coaches players of all ages and abilities with a strong focus on connecting fitness and golf.
